Durban – KwaZulu-Natal’s oldest crocodile, Henry, will celebrate his 121st birthday on Thursday this week.
Henry is Crocworld’s oldest crock and the oldest known crocodile in captivity. Measuring in at 5-metres in length and 750kg in weight, Henry’s birthday feed is not one to be missed.

The shocking snap is one of 10 jaw-dropping scenes selected for a wildlife photography contest showcasing Kenya’s serene Maasai Mara savannahs.
In the pic, the huge reptile pokes its jaws out of the water with an entire bloodied zebra in its mouth moments before the animal’s certain death.
The waters are stained red and the zebra appears to kick its hooves and waggle its head in a last desperate attempt to break free.

The last article gave readers an update on where I had got with finding the alleged film of a creature taken by the Sidney Wignall expedition to Loch Morar in 1981. However, after a few roadblocks, I managed to get a sight of the film that has aroused curiosity amongst cryptozoologists for some time. The clip I had access to lasts about two minutes and it does show the flyover of the object of interest.
