A big cat report from Cornwall

A fairly typical big cat report accompanied by a video from which I have stolen a frame grab. I don’t want to sound like I’m always being negative, but although the animal is admittedly vaguely cat shaped, there is no sense of scale and no way to tell whether it is an enormous Siberian tiger or a domestic moggy. Cue a whole pile of death threats accusing me of trying to destabilise cryptozoology, when in fact I’m trying to do the exact opposite JD

Two more unconvincing Loch Ness photographs

Some years ago, a famous Cryptozoologist who really should’ve known better said that I was bringing the subject into disrepute because I had appeared mildly drunk at one of the Fortean Times conventions. It probably wasn’t my finest hour, but I think far more damage is done to the subject by people who post these blurry photographs of nothing in particular and claim them as important evidence for the existence of the Loch Ness monster.
