Rare Greenland shark at Newlyn found and brought to shore

The body of a rare shark that was spotted stranded in Cornwall has been found and brought back to shore to study. The Greenland shark was spotted by a walker on a beach at Newlyn Harbour near Penzance on Sunday, March 13.
