How Did A 33ft Whale End Up In The Middle Of A Field In East Yorkshire?

A baby whale ᴘᴇʀɪsʜᴇᴅ after being trapped in a salt marsh after being swept 800 yards off the beach by an extremely high equinox tide. The 33-foot-long species, believed to be a Sei whale, was discovered in wetlands on the north side of the River Humber near Skeffling. The whale got trapped as the tide receded, eventually rolling over onto its blowhole and sᴜꜰꜰᴏᴄᴀᴛɪɴɢ. The year’s highest tides come after the spring and fall equinoxes
