This is an excellent book that brings together folk and indigenous histories of wild man encounters all over Europe and Asia. The author does an excellent job of knitting together the various threads of experience from diverse cultures. What emerges is an extensive history of wild people living into modern times. The book is old now, but still very much worth reading if you are interested in the sasquatch phenomena.
