From where I am sitting, I think that because of the stripes, it is a particularly large melanistic wildcat, but whatever it is it is a magnificent creature JD

Mysterious ‘big cat‘ captured prowling near trout fishery – Talker

The fishery owner said the striking feline was “bigger than a normal cat” and compared it in size to a Labrador.
