Lions in Cumbria? Surely not.

The main reason that we are very sceptical here at the CFZ about reports of lions loose in the UK is that there is not a series of reports of cattle being taken. Lions would pray on much larger species than pumas or leopards. There are also no reports of roars. They are also sociable species that live in prides with a dominant male, and a bunch of females and juveniles. But these reports do continue….jd
